About this event

Our goal is to enkindle the faith of women to grow, inspire a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and ignite a desire to fulfill their call and vocation with the Church.

This year's conference features the following speakers:

  • Sr. Josephine Garrett, CSFN – (English) She is a native Texas born and raised in Houston, TX. Sister was raised Baptist and entered the Catholic Church in 2005. Later, in November of 2011, she began her formation to be a religious Sister. In November of 2020 Sister Josephine professed her final vows as a Sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth. She is a licensed counselor serving as the school counselor for the cathedral grade school in Tyler, TX, and also in private practice. Sister has also served in vocations ministry and as a national speaker for youth and young adults, speaking to groups of up to 25,000.
  • Sor Mariana de Jesús, OP – (Español) Ella pertenece a la Congregación Hermanas Dominicas de Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Fátima, congregación religiosa puertorriqueña de Derecho Pontificio afiliada a la Orden de Predicadores (Dominicos). Esta congregación desempeña su apostolado en la Iglesia a través del trabajo pastoral parroquial, el trabajo religioso social, la promoción humana y la evangelización para contribuir con el desarrollo integral de la persona, las familias y la comunidad. Es por esto que Sor Mariana, además de su formación religiosa, estudió Magisterio y Trabajo Social. Ella ha trabajado en distintas áreas tales como la catequesis, magisterio y trabajo social. También ofreciendo cursos y retiros para jóvenes, matrimonios, mujeres en distintos estados a través de la nación y en Puerto Rico.
  • Márcia Bastos Da Silva – (Portuguese) Bacharel em Psicólogia, pós-graduada em Psicossomática e Mestre em Aconselhamento Cristão, Brasileira-EstadoUnidense, casada, mãe de 4 filhos adultos, natural do Rio de Janeiro, vivendo nos EUA por mais de 20 anos.

Please note that due to the Covid-19 situation we have to limit on-site capacity to 100 people for each language, and we are not able to accept walk-ins. Masks will be strongly reccomended.
